相會(huì)在瓷中——東西融合視野下的柳樹圖案創(chuàng)意作品征集通知
柳樹圖案陶瓷是十八世紀(jì)下半葉英國(guó)斯泰福夏郡北部地區(qū)陶工挪用中國(guó)外銷瓷上的柳樹、飛鳥、亭臺(tái)、樓閣、人物等圖案，拼貼創(chuàng)作出的一種轉(zhuǎn)印陶瓷產(chǎn)品。在十九世紀(jì)，物美價(jià)廉的柳樹圖案陶瓷產(chǎn)品，不但因物美價(jià)廉而廣受英國(guó)消費(fèi)者歡迎，還遠(yuǎn)銷歐洲、北美乃至中國(guó)，成為該地區(qū)最為成功的工業(yè)化產(chǎn)品。1910年該地區(qū)的六座城鎮(zhèn)（斯托克、伯斯萊姆、漢利、朗頓、滕斯托爾、芬頓鎮(zhèn)）被合并為特倫特河畔的斯托克，1925年升格為市，迄今因其在陶瓷產(chǎn)業(yè)的重要影響力而被譽(yù)為英國(guó)的“陶瓷之都”。
Willow-pattern ceramics are largely transfer ceramic products created by the British potters in the northern region of Staffordshire,England,who appropriated the patterns of pavilions,flowers,birds,and figures on Chinese export porcelain in the second half of the 18th century.In the 19th century,the inexpensive and beautiful willow wares were not only much sought after by British consumers,but also were exported to Europe,North America and even China,becoming the most successful industrialized products of the region.In 1910,six towns that constituted the area,namely,Stoke,Burslem,Hanley,Longton,Tunstall,Fenton,were merged to form Stoke-on-Trent,and given city status in 1925.The region has been known as Britain’s“ceramic capital”because of its important status in the British ceramic industry.
為慶祝該市成立100周年并促進(jìn)中英陶瓷文化交流，我校將與英國(guó)斯泰福夏大學(xué)、斯托克市斯波德博物館等機(jī)構(gòu)在斯波德博物館共同舉辦“遺產(chǎn)與延續(xù)——英國(guó)柳樹圖案陶瓷及‘他者’的故事學(xué)術(shù)展及研討會(huì)”，旨在再現(xiàn)這一圖案及其故事在十八世紀(jì)末和十九世紀(jì)初被設(shè)計(jì)、制作和推廣的歷史過(guò)程，批判性地審視十九世紀(jì)下半葉至二十世紀(jì)中葉該圖案及其故事變體所暗含的英國(guó)東方主義話語(yǔ)，并辯證地考察自二十世紀(jì)70年代全球化浪潮以來(lái)，該圖案及其故事對(duì)英國(guó)和中國(guó)陶瓷產(chǎn)業(yè)的影響，以此管窺十七世紀(jì)以來(lái)四百余年恢弘的中英陶瓷文化交流歷史。
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the City of Stoke-on-Trent and promote Sino-UK ceramic cultural communication,Jingdezhen Ceramic University plans to co-organize“Legacy and Continuity:The Academic Exhibition and Symposium of Willow Pattern Wares and Stories of‘Other’”with the University of Staffordshire and Spode Museum.This exhibition explores the process of how this pattern and its story were designed,fabricated and promoted in the late 18th and early 19th century.It critically examines the British Orientalist discourse embodied in the variations of the pattern and its story from the second-half of the 19th to the mid-20th century.It also dialectically reviews their influence on both British and Chinese ceramic industry under the wave of globalization from 1970s to the present day.The objective of this collaboration is to give a glimpse of the four hundred-year history of Sino-British ceramic cultural exchange.
在展覽陶瓷器物、檔案、圖像和電影之外，我們還將邀請(qǐng)中英藝術(shù)家在展覽現(xiàn)場(chǎng)表演非遺技藝、共創(chuàng)陶瓷作品，并展示師生的創(chuàng)意作品，以此融通過(guò)去、現(xiàn)在和未來(lái)的三種形式，探尋這一經(jīng)典英國(guó)圖案的歷久彌新之道。為此，特向全校師生征集以柳樹圖案創(chuàng)意陶瓷作品，現(xiàn)將有關(guān)事項(xiàng)通知如下：
Along with displaying ceramic wares,archives,images and films of the past,we will also invite Chinese and British artists to co-create works through performances of shared intangible heritage who stand for the present,and show contemporary interpretations of the willow-pattern created by teachers and students who represent the future,to address why the Willow Pattern(one of the most reproduced ceramic patterns in British design)still holds resonance today.We hereby call for creative willow-pattern ceramic works from the teachers and students of our university.The specific requirements are hereby notified as follows:
一、征集主題:祝賀百年慶典，共創(chuàng)美好未來(lái)

六、展覽方式：評(píng)審委員會(huì)將遴選10件作品于2025年9月6日至2026年3月29日在英國(guó)斯波德博物館展出，展覽組委會(huì)將為展覽作品出具證書，并遴選優(yōu)秀作者赴英國(guó)參加展覽開(kāi)幕儀式。
6.Exhibition：The jury will select 10 works to be exhibited at the Spode Museum in the United Kingdom from 6 September 2025 to 29 March 2026,and the exhibition organizing committee will issue certificates for the exhibition works and the artists of excellent works will be invited to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
七、作品要求：
1、作品類型：陶瓷盤、板和瓶等。
2、作品形式：規(guī)格不超過(guò)30（深）*40（寬）*80（高）厘米。
3、作品應(yīng)富于創(chuàng)意，兼容古今，符合主題，杜絕抄襲。
7.Requirement for works
1.Type of work:ceramic art.
2.Form of work:plate,plaque,vase,etc.,no larger than 30cm depth x 40cm wide x 80cm high.
3.The work must be contemporary in its approach drawing together past and present,and creatively made by the candidates in line with the theme of the exhibition.
八、報(bào)名提交
1.截止日期2025年6月10日。掃描二維碼進(jìn)入小程序提交作品；根據(jù)要求填寫姓名、學(xué)院、班級(jí)（適用學(xué)生）、聯(lián)系電話、作品名稱、作品簡(jiǎn)介，并上傳作品圖片。（參賽作品照片，高清照片3M以上，jpg格式，分辨率為300dpi，背景干凈)；
8.Deadline:June 10th,2025.Scan the QR code below to submit your work.Fill in your name,school,class(for student),contact number,name of and brief introduction to the work,and upload the image of the work(jpg format,resolution 300dpi,clean background)according to the requirements.
2.2025年6月11日—17日評(píng)審委員會(huì)對(duì)作品進(jìn)行評(píng)選。評(píng)選結(jié)果將于2025年6月18日公布。
3.The jury will select the works from June 11 to 17,2025,and announce the result on June 18,2025.
